Celebrating Chinese New Year

Usher in the year of The Monkey at The Langham Auckland with a series of meticulously prepared Chinese New Year offerings at Eight restaurant.

For four days from Saturday 6 February to Tuesday 9 February, Eight will have an extra special selection of Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner in addition to its usual delicious Eight interactive kitchens.

There’ll be crispy pork belly, noodles with Chinese pork sausage and fish cakes and sweet and sour chicken during lunch service and in the evenings, Peking Duck with Hoi sin glazed scotch, Soy tofu, Niao Gao glutinous rice and pork cake, Singapore crab and sweet and sour prawns and much more will be served for dinner.

For dessert, Lotus buns, battered apples and bananas in golden syrup, green tea ice cream, guilinggao and fortune cookies will ensure you start the year in the sweetest of ways.

The New Year menu will only be available for four days from Saturday 6 February to Tuesday 9 February 2016 in Eight.
