Policies at The Langham Auckland Hotel

Check-in/Check-out Policy

The Langham Auckland hotel’s standard check-in time is 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00.

Credit Card Fee

If you are settling your account with a credit card or an offshore Visa debit card or Mastercard debit card, please note that a service fee will apply to cover banking charges. The current fee is 2% in addition to the total amount payable for all types of credit cards and offshore Visa and Mastercard debit cards. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract a fee.

Non-Smoking Policy

The Langham Auckland is a non-smoking hotel and has a 'no smoking' policy in all rooms. Smoking is permitted outdoors and there is a guest smoking area in the outdoor courtyard off the lobby.

Payment Policy

On arrival at the hotel, The Langham Auckland requires a credit card pre-authorisation to cover the value of your stay plus NZ$100 of incidentals per day (up to a maximum of NZ$400). If you wish to settle your account by cash, your identification is required along with full accommodation prepayment, and an incidental deposit of NZ$100 per day.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation charge will be incurred where a cancellation is received from 16.00 hours local time on the day of arrival (there is no charge for cancellations prior to this time). Should a cancellation be received after 16.00 hours on the day of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, a one night charge at the agreed accommodation room rate will be levied.

Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to our Reservations Department on 64 (9) 302 9991 or emailed to tlakl.resv@langhamhotels.com prior to 16.00 local time.
