BOSTON (March 1, 2016) – The Langham, Boston is thrilled to announce that Joseph Henderek was named Chef de Cuisine at BOND restaurant | lounge. With nearly a decade of experience in Northeast restaurants, Henderek brings his passion for locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to the restaurant.
After graduating with an Associate’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2007, Henderek received his degree from the French Culinary Institute in New York. Following the completion of his degree he worked for several restaurants in the Berkshires and upstate New York. He then worked at Allium & Mezze in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, followed by working at Chez Nous in Lee, Massachusetts. Most recently Henderek was the Chef de Cuisine at JM Curley, Bogie’s Place and BIN 26 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Blending the grand architectural elements and history of The Langham, Boston with modern design, BOND restaurant | lounge is a stylish destination for local and modern American fare and creative cocktails. Henderek will collaborate with the hotel’s Executive Chef Mark Sapienza and Executive Pastry Chef Ryan Pike to develop dishes that use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create bold flavors for the restaurant’s seasonal menus.
