The Langham, Boston Welcomes New General Manager Ron Pellerine

BOSTON, MA, October 2015 – The Langham, Boston is proud to announce the appointment of Ron Pellerine as General Manager, effective October 1, 2015. Ron brings a wealth of experience to this new role, including the experience of managing the largest hotel in Canada, Langham Hospitality Group’s own Chelsea Hotel Toronto since 2011.

Hospitality is in Ron’s blood, having practically grown up in the hotel business. He started following his father around at his job at a resort at age five and got the buzz to begin working there himself at age 11, in any available role he could fill, from water ski instructor, to housekeeping and general maintenance, to dishwasher and cook.


Ron began his professional career in food & beverage but since then has amassed a wealth of industry experience in a variety of roles at hotels all over the world, including Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping Manager, Resident Manager and, most recently, General Manager. Prior to joining Langham Hospitality Group, Ron spent time at Novotel, Sofitel and Accor hotels, as well as various restaurants, in Canada, Europe, the U.S.A., Vietnam and Hong Kong, before becoming General Manager of the Metropolitan Hotel Toronto. He came to the Chelsea Hotel Toronto in 2011 as General Manager. While at Chelsea Hotel Toronto, he oversaw the hotel’s brand change when it was re-flagged by Langham Hospitality Group, as well as a $30 million CAD renovation of its guest rooms, meeting facilities, restaurants and public spaces.
