An Egg-citing Easter and a Blooming Spring at The Langham, Hong Kong

Offering Golden Egg Surprises and Decorative Floral Éclairs

(Hong Kong, March 2015) – The Langham, Hong Kong is brunching for joy and presenting an egg-cellent holiday this Easter, while welcoming spring with sweet blossoms. From The Bostonian boasting an interactive Sunday Brunch with activities for adults and children of all ages, to Palm Court’s Golden Egg “Suite” surprise and its series of Floral Éclairs, experience springtime with Langham sweet sensations.

Palm Court
A Chinese idiom says, “A year’s plan starts in spring”. In honour of this budding proverb, Executive Pastry Chef Reinhard Lackner has embraced the season by creating six colourful Floral Éclairs. Inspired by blossoms in which spring brings, he has decorated them with a floral flair and used flavour profiles of Wild Hibiscus Flower, Key Lime and Spearmint, Mango Sauternes and Apricot, Madagascar Spring Vanilla, Forest Berry, as well as Double Chocolate with Marzipan. The Palm Court lounge will also be dressed for springtime where guests can nibble on edible decorations and enjoy a sensory experience.

The Floral Éclairs are available from 13 April to 31 May 2015.

Taking centre stage of Palm Court are the Golden Easter Eggs. Decorated in gold leaves, these decadent chocolate showpieces are made of fine Illanka dark chocolate with 63% pure cocoa butter, and its acidic impact reveals subtle flavours of black fruits. Within each chocolate egg is a golden ticket that presents a “two-night stay at The Langham, Hong Kong’s newly refurbished Grand Langham room and The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood experience for two”. A lucky few will have a “Suite” surprise of a complimentary upgrade to the Langham Suite.

Each golden Easter egg is priced at HK$6,500 and available from 16 March to 10 April 2015. Three days in advance to pre-order is recommended.

The Bostonian
It wouldn’t be Easter without a brunch. On 5 April 2015, The Bostonian restaurant will be turned into an Easter retreat featuring a wide selection of appetizers and main courses that include a bounty of fresh seafood like Boston lobsters and oysters from around the world. A Foie Gras station, chocolate fountain, an Egg painting and cupcake decorating section will make an exclusive appearance for Easter Sunday where there will be something for everyone. Children will also have a comfort food collection of mini hotdogs, scotch quail eggs, mini chicken burgers, and more.

Easter brunch is priced at HK$608 per adult and HK$368 per child, subject to a 10% service charge.
