The Bostonian will be dishing out a savoury brunch feast, while The Food Gallery offers couture cupcakes for mums to enjoy. Showing additional gratitude and appreciation, all mums will receive a complementary gift of pink macaroons and chocolate truffles for those who dine in either restaurants, as well as a HK$150 Uber credit for the ride home.

Considering that most women have a taste for both sweets and fashion, the pastry team has created Couture Cupcake Heels for mums to indulge at The Food Gallery. Styled with fresh fruit, icing pearls, edible flowers and cream, these fashionable cupcakes come in five different flavours, namely Rose, Mango, Lemon, Pistachio and Double Chocolate. Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and wonderful to taste, treat mum to experience edible fashion displayed for dinner from now until the end of May.
The Food Gallery will also offer featured dishes such as Wild Mushroom Scallop Fish Roll with Lemon Fennel and Black Truffle Sabayon and Slow Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek with Glace Beetroot and Thai Asparagus to guests who dine for lunch and dinner Mother’s Day weekend.

This Mother’s Day, The Bostonian restaurant introduces a feast for the eyes and mouth for the entire family. A parade of oysters from around the world, a fresh salad bar, imported charcuterie and cheeses, and decadent desserts will be orchestrated on the appetiser buffet for Sunday brunch and dinner to take mum on a culinary journey. A selection of palatable main fare will be offered which will be served tableside from a Stone Grill Sirloin with Oxtail Mash, Onion Puree and Bordelaise Sauce to Halibut on Bone with Champagne Caviar Cream.

In honour of Mother’s Day, Artesian Bar Manager Rajendra “Rush” Limbu has created newly crafted cocktails. He used a mix of inspiring spirits to develop an exclusive collection in order to give mum a gift like a Liquid Bouquet, using Boodles gin, Lavender and Violet Liqueur, lemon juice, and egg white that leaves a floral sensation. Another featured refreshment is the Jam Cocktail, which incorporates the exclusive bitter orange jam by Bonne Maman from France, Grand Marnier and orange juice. Finally, the White Bourbon Sour is a rare yet alluring fusion using Few White Whisky, fresh lemon and lime juice, egg white and simple syrup to create a rustic taste.
Going the extra mile, The Langham, Hong Kong has partnered with Uber for mums and their families to dine with ease by making travel to the hotel seamless. Connecting riders to drivers with a touch of a button, this technology application will provide dining guests a HK$150 credit to use on the app for free transportation by UberBlack, UberTaxi and UberVan starting on May 8, 2015. To redeem, guests could simply download the Uber app and register with the promo code “THELANGHAMHK”. The joint promotion will be extended until the end of May 2015 for guests dining at any of the hotel’s venues. The promotion is limited to first-time Uber users and rides in Hong Kong only.
