Roux Farmhouse Sunday Brunch

18th April 2016 – The Langham, London is delighted to announce the launch of its ‘Roux Farmhouse Brunch’, a novel brunch concept for restaurant partners Chez Roux, conceived together with the newly announced team at fine dining Roux at The Landau.

Presiding over the brunch is the recently appointed Head Chef of Roux at the Landau, Oliver Boon, and Executive Chef of The Langham, London, Chris King; purveyors of a high level of technical skill and a strong understanding of classical cooking.

Launching 1st May, Roux Farmhouse Brunch will see Roux at The Landau transformed into a luxury barn with farmhouse tables adorned with herbs and florals and wicker baskets of seasonal produce greeting guests on arrival. Bookings from 11.30am until 3pm.

A ‘Farm Table’ buffet will enable a convivial and relaxed serving style with a rich selection of classic brunch offerings, including Scottish smoked salmon, pâté en croute, asparagus, morel and wild garlic quiche and an opulent seafood selection of Cornish oysters on ice and native lobster cocktails.

Brunch main courses will be served ‘a la carte’ and feature a luxury breakfast offering of truffled eggs benedict and a classic carved Beef Wellingtons, York Ham baked in Hay or Spit-roast suckling pig Shoulder; to name but a few menu options.

A dessert buffet will provide the final indulgence featuring Paris-Brest, Mayan chocolate mousse, and Tarte Bourdaloue.

A Bloody Mary station will provide the classic Brunch beverage of choice ‘with a difference’ and the opportunity for guests to experience live mixing and exciting combinations of Bloody Mary ingredients. Free flowing champagne will be served from the new Roux at The Landau champagne trolley to ensure guests are well watered.

Roux Farmhouse Brunch is the first Brunch concept by Chez Roux and will be available between 11.30am-3pm on Sundays, accompanied by live music. A three course Brunch is priced £49 (including coffee and tea) and £75 for a three course Brunch with free flowing champagne or Bloody Marys.

In partnership with culinary icons father and son Albert and Michel Roux Jr, Roux at the Landau restaurant sees Roux protégé Chef Chris King create classically-constructed dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients with a contemporary style of presentation. Chuan Spa is a pampering haven and is London’s first luxury hotel spa to incorporate the ancient principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine into its signature treatments and ambience.
