March 2018 ... Diners are encouraged to hop along to The Langham, Melbourne over Easter from Good Friday (Friday 30 March) until Sunday 8 April.
During this time, Melba Restaurant will satisfy chocolate cravings by showcasing a positively sinful selection of chocolate at breakfast including chocolate chip pancakes with the option of adding chocolate sauce and even chocolate ice cream, plus chocolate muffins, chocolate croissants and chocolate smoothies. Breakfast is available from $45.00 for adults and children dine for half price.
Melba Restaurant will also have Easter events on at lunch and dinner on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Lunch and dinner are available from $105.00 each day and children dine for half price. On Easter Sunday, every guest will be presented with a Lindt chocolate Easter Bunny and the Easter Bunny will be making a special visit.
The menu each day will vary but what won’t change is an extensive array of international cuisines from Indian curries such as everyone’s favourite butter chicken, Chinese dumplings, Italian ravioli and gnocchi, to Japanese sashimi and sushi plus plenty of premium Australian seafood such as Port Douglas oysters, Tasmanian salmon, black lipped mussels and tempura prawns. On Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, Aria Lounge will be serving a Chocolate Bar High Tea that features chocolate chip scones and Piemonte chocolate domes as well as a choice of coffee, loose leaf Wedgwood teas and of course, hot chocolate.
The high tea also includes delicate sandwiches and additional sweet treats plus a glass of premium sparkling wine served on arrival.
The Chocolate Bar High Tea is available twice a day and is $89.00 per adult (children are half price) inclusive of a glass of sparkling wine.
Aria Lounge will also be serving a special Easter chocolate cocktail called, Langham Loves Lindt. It’s a heady concoction of Absolut Vanilla, Mozart chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao and cream and garnished with Lindt chocolate flakes served with a mini Lindt bunny and chocolate carrot on a bed of coconut grass. The cocktail is available from Monday 26 March until Monday 2 April and is $19.00 or two for $35.00.
