Christmas Eve Dinner
Guests can kick off celebrations with a candy cane cocktail or a glass of sparkling before enjoying a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings. The Christmas Eve buffet offerings include Moreton Bay bugs, blue swimmer crab, scallop fettuccine, ginger and crab stir fry, Tandoori pork belly and cider and honey roast leg of lamb. The dessert cabinet will be brimming with salted caramel apple tarts,Kahlua and cream brownies, chocolate éclairs and a fountain with over-flowing Lindt chocolate.
Children will be given a special take home gift of cookies, milk and a letter for Santa while all guests are welcome to marvel at the hotel’s two-storey Christmas tree.
Early Christmas Eve dinner will be from 5pm until 7:30pm.

Christmas Day Breakfast
Families, friends and couples can get a head start on Christmas festivities with a relaxed breakfast to start the day. The extensive breakfast options include smoked salmon, bacon rashers, hash browns, grilled sausages, maple ham and cheese croissant and eggs made to order. Plus, diners can indulge in fluffy pancakes, cinnamon Danish, Bircher muesli, stewed and citrus fruits and chilled seasonal lemons served with either a freshly squeezed juice or blended smoothie.
Breakfast is served from 6:30am until 10:30am. Adults can dine for $135.00 and children dine for $85.00.
Christmas Day Lunches at The Langham, Melbourne
Christmas Day lunch at The Langham, Melbourne is available in no less than three venues. Melba Restaurant (sold out), Clarendon Ballroom and Alto, the hotel’s rooftop venue, each host their own distinct take on Christmas Day lunch.
Christmas Day Lunch at Alto
Located on level 25 of the hotel, Alto offers an unparalleled view of the Yarra River and city skyline for guests wishing to experience a sophisticated lunch with the finest cuisine. The festive celebrations will include a visit from Santa Claus and The Langham, Melbourne’s renowned carollers.
Western Australian rock lobster, Queensland king prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, South Australia Pacific oysters, blue fin tuna, Tasmanian salmon sashimi, green lip mussel and Port Fairy blue swimmer crab will be served for entrée while the main course stations will offer Wagyu beef sirloin with Bordelaise sauce and Yorkshire pudding, turkey breast with cranberry sauce, honey-glazed leg of ham and roasted vegetables and potatoes accompanied by Coldstream Hills’ and Penfolds’ exquisite red and white wine collection, beers, soft drinks and juices.
Diners are encouraged to save room for decadent desserts from Christmas mince tarts, tiramisu, traditional Christmas pudding, dark chocolate and praline mousse to Yule log, Christmas macarons, vanilla bean crème brulée, Victorian cheeses and last but not least, a brimming Lindt chocolate fountain.
Adults are $399.00 per person and children are $215.00 per child.
Christmas Day Lunch at Clarendon Ballroom
The Langham, Melbourne’s Clarendon Ballroom will be adorned with enchanting decorations to create the perfect setting to celebrate Christmas. Guests will be spoilt for choice with over 20 dishes from which to choose. From fresh water yabbies, Queensland king prawns, prosciutto with rock melon to grilled cutlets of lamb with rosemary, crisp skin salmon with green beans, prime rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding, veal scallopini with mushroom and tomato and turkey breast with cranberry sauce and sage stuffing, diners will surely have a Christmas lunch to remember.
There will also be a “Kids Only” room complete with Playstations, games and a slushie machine for the young and the young at heart.
Lunch will be served from 12pm until 3:30pm. Adults dine for $349.00 and children can dine for $199.00 for a minimum table of 6 paying guests.
Christmas Day Dinner at Melba Restaurant
Guests can choose from over 40 delectable dishes from the traditional festive favourites to diverse flavours from different cuisines including Italian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese to name just some.
Guests will also be able to enjoy wine from Coldstream Hills and Penfolds and a premium selection of sparkling wine and beers.
And what about dessert? There will be candy cane and red velvet trifles, Christmas crumble pies, sticky fig and butterscotch soufflés, Gundowring ice creams plus Melba’s famous melted chocolate fountain.
Dinner is served from 6pm until 11pm. Adults dine for $299.00 and children can dine for $175.00.

Guests seeking an alternative to breakfast, lunch and dinner may opt to visit Aria Bar and Lounge and enjoy a Christmas-themed chocolate bar and afternoon tea.
Think Christmas stuffing quiche, Yule logs, Christmas pudding as well as time-honoured favourites such as ribbon sandwiches and fluffy, freshly baked scones with chantilly cream served with free flowing espresso coffee, hot chocolate and loose-leaf Wedgwood teas.
$139.00 per adult includes a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and $89.00 per child.
