Spa guests who show that they are either registered for a charity walk-a-thon, run or marathon can benefit from 20% off any massage or foot treatment
(New York, NY – April 2018) – Just in time for the start of springtime weather in New York City, Chuan Body + Soul at The Langham, New York wants to reward those who take advantage of the warm temperatures by walking – or running – for a good cause.
Any guests who visit Chuan Body + Soul and show their registration or bib number for any of the upcoming charitable walks or runs held throughout the five boroughs of New York City – including the New York Marathon and its qualifying runs – can benefit from a 20% discount on all feet treatments and massages on the full spa menu. Ideal choices for both walkers and runners include the Chuan Stone Therapy Massage, a 1 hour and 30 minute treatment that uses hot stones to increase body circulation and assist immune function, injury recovery and mental alertness; and the Chuan Mini Feet Retreat, a refreshing treatment that will enhance circulation and enliven tired and aching feet in just 30 minutes.
Before or after any treatment, guests are encouraged to relax and recharge in the spa, which offers individual steam showers and a spacious sauna in both the men’s and the women’s lounges. The sauna, which can seat up to 10 people, is adorned with a pink Himalayan salt wall that is both pleasing to the eye and the holistic health of an athlete’s body – breathing in salt has been known to improve lung capacity, increase blood flow and, over time, improve athletic endurance. (The Chuan Stone Therapy can be done with hot salt stones, as well, to encourage these same results.)
Chuan Body + Soul is located at The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue on the 4th floor and is open from 10 am-8 pm daily. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling +1 212 613 8720 or emailing email@example.com.
