LANGHAM HOSPITALITY GROUP APPOINTS FIRST REGIONAL DIRECTORS OF SALES AND MARKETING TO SUPPORT GROWTH

Langham Hospitality Group has created two new regional director of sales and marketing roles to support its growing international operations on four continents. It has named Robert Touzel as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe and North America while Jack Lim is the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for China.
The Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing will help to grow the market share of the operational hotels, capture share for new hotels and ensure regional opportunities are maximised.
Bob van den Oord, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Langham Hospitality Group said: "These new regional roles will support our ongoing growth across the globe. They will work closely with our existing properties to facilitate and direct new marketing initiatives which will be region-specific. These new appointments will also ensure efficient and co-ordinated marketing operations as we support pre-opening properties as well."
Robert Touzel – Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – Europe and North America
Formerly Director of Sales and Marketing of The Langham London, Robert was instrumental in leading the group's flagship property to become recognised as one of the city's leading hotels in the run up to next year's Olympics following its GBP80 million refurbishment. Robert has extensive North American experience with other luxury hotel operators in the United States.
Jack Lim – Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – China
Singaporean national, Jack has over 20 years experience in China and key Asian markets and has held senior leadership positions in the travel and hospitality industries. With a deep understanding of the market garnered in sales, contracting and supplier relations, Jack's roles have included the regional director of global sales in Greater China and Taiwan for a large global hotel chain and Asia Pacific Head of hotel contracting at Gulllivers Travel Associates GTA.
