Luxury hotel operator, Langham Hotels International (LHI) has announced that T'ang Court, recent winner of two Michelin Stars in Hong Kong will open its first outpost in Shanghai at the new art deco property - The Langham, Yangtze Boutique, with reservations now being taken for stays and dining from May 1.

The new restaurant, located on the second floor of The Langham, Yangtze Boutique will feature the service, and ambience as well as all the signature dishes that made its Hong Kong counterpart famous. These include the highly-acclaimed Crispy Salty Chicken and Crispy-Fried Eel Balls with Plum Honey Sauce and Baked Oysters with Port Wine.

Group Chinese Executive Chef Kwong Wai Keung said: "We'll be bringing some of the magic that won T'ang Court in Hong Kong two Michelin stars to Shanghai. It won't be an easy proving ground but we'll let our cuisine and our elegant service enchant our guests."

Langham Hotels International is one of the few international luxury hotel groups to employ its own Group Chinese Executive Chef to oversee Chinese culinary standards.

While Hong Kong's T'ang Court now proudly holds two Michelin Stars, it is no stranger to accolades.

This fine dining Cantonese restaurant has garnered many accolades including the USbased Hotel Magazine's Top 10 Hotel Restaurants in the world. T'ang Court was named on US Food and Wine Magazine's "Go list 2008" and also received a Gold with Distinction Medal in The Best of the Best Culinary Awards organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board two years in a row.

Travel+ Leisure has also listed T'ang Court as one of only ten restaurants worldwide on its annual Hot List of the World's 100 Fabulous Places and Things.
