LANGHAM HOTELS INTERNATIONAL EXPANDS SALES EFFORT TO THE WEST COAST OF NORTH AMERICA
(Hong Kong – 20 July 2006) ---- Langham Hotels International (LHI) appoints Ms. Alice Wu Cota as Director of Sales – Western Region, North America to support the group’s business expansion in the West Coast.
Alice is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She has worked for the regional sales offices in North America for hospitality chains such as Hyatt International Hotels and Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts. During her career, she has actively participated in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for accounts in the MICE market, travel agencies, IT and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Langham, she was Director of Business Development for Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts – Western Regional Sales Office, Silicon Valley.
Based in San Francisco, Alice will focus her efforts to maximise Langham’s reach in North America, in particular the Western region. She will also help to enhance LHI’s brand presence throughout the market.
