The Langham Lends a Hand

With The Langham Lends a Hand, guests of Midtown’s most luxurious hotel can feel good knowing that their visit will include a donation to one of a selection of worthy organizations in the United States.

The donation from The Langham Lends a Hand will change seasonally. Until June 30, The Langham Lends a Hand will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC, whose mission is to support edible education for every child in New York City by partnering with NYC public schools to cultivate healthy students and communities through hands-on cooking and gardening education, transforming children’s relationship with food and promoting healthier school environments. Edible Schoolyard NYC currently works with 7 schools, serving 2,867 students in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, primarily in disinvested New York City communities disproportionately affected by food, health, and education system inequities. In addition to serving New York City public school children, ESYNYC provides free or low-cost Professional Development workshops to teach other education professionals how to bring edible education to more students across the city.
