Pasadena Heritage's mission is to identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural, and cultural resources of the City of Pasadena. The organization provides a powerful voice for the protection of the historic buildings and cultural resources that make our city so unique. The organization was founded in 1977 by a concerned group of citizens. Since inception, it has grown to the second largest preservation organization in the state. Pasadena Heritage works with the city staff, commissioners and council members, neighborhood leaders, community groups, and developers. The organization also provides a variety of education programs, including tours, workshops, and lectures, to raise awareness and attract visitors to experience Pasadena's architectural heritage.
