About Sean Hu

Originally from Tainan, Taiwan, Sean Hu brings over a decade of high-end pastry experience to his regional leadership role at Langham Hospitality Group. His career spans acclaimed kitchens across Asia and Australia, including Pasadena Fine Dining Restaurant alongside 3-Star Michelin Chef Eric Pras, as well as collaborations with renowned pastry chef Anna Polyviou in Sydney.

 

A recognized culinary talent, Hu has earned top honors at the UIBC Youth Cup World Pastry Championship and World Skills International, alongside three consecutive "Outstanding Afternoon Tea of the Year" titles at the That’s Food & Drink Awards (2021–2023). Featured in publications such as So Good magazine, he is known for dynamic, visually striking desserts that pair innovative techniques with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
