Our top tips to create an intimate wedding are:

Wedding Colour Palette

When looking at your preferred colour scheme, pick your favourite colours but  colours that will match the style and palette of your event space.

Notice here how our recent couple Jasmine and Ben have chosen soft pastel colours for their flowers, to match the chairs.

The soft blush tones, add warm tones to the room and the colour tapered candlesticks, add the perfect accent of colour and height along the table.

These breath-taking flowers by Wild at Heart, are such a delicate and perfect combination.

One top tip to remember about your wedding day flowers, is to ask if you can take them home. Your florist should be able to either provide flower bags or should the arrangements be in an oasis, you will be able to take it all home! Being able enjoy the flowers in your home, and reflect on your wedding day is a lovely way to keep your magical memories alive longer!

Colour Theme and Scents

Stick to the colour theme!

When you do pick a colour theme for your day, do stick with it. This will keep everything looking coordinated – leaving you with an elegant look.  Our Bride Jasmine, choose pastel pink napkins to pull her pastel theme through on to the place setting.

Embrace the senses

Smell is one of the most evocative and powerful of all of our five senses. The touch of handtied bunches rosemary added by Wild at Heart, will be scent that our couple will carry with them from their London Wedding Day. Its easily forgotten, but it’s certainly worthwhile to think about how you can incorporate your favourite scents into your wedding day.

Get to know your photographer

Your Wedding photographer (and videographer if you are having one!) is the one of the most important suppliers of your wedding day. They are not always recognised as such, but they capture and immortalize all the special moments of your wedding day for posterity. These are the images that you will look back on and share with your family, friends and future generations.

This means  picking the right photographer is hugely important. Do not hesitate to take the time, research their work, their style, and before formally booking, we highly recommend planning an engagement shoot with them. This will allow you to get a feel for their style, the way they work and communicate, plus you will be able to judge from the photos if they really are right for you.

Sammy Taylor has beautifully immortalised these photos – and her style is just divine. It is a perfect mixture of a fairy tale yet current and timeless which will allow these photographs to be treasured forever.

The day is all about you, and should be a reflection of your favourite colours, scents and food! It is a day each couple should cherish and will undoubtedly become one of the most important milestones in your journey through life together, at The Langham, we are here to guide you each step of the way.
