ALMOST CONVENTIONALLY SILVER

Peter Clark finds, folds, and layers recycled paper to sculpt collages of animals, garments, and people. After a career as a designer and illustrator, he began focusing on his collage work in 1999.

Known for his quirky portraits of dogs, Clark's work is highly detailed and precise. His collages are crafted entirely from paper sourced from junkyards, garage sales, and flea markets. Remarkably, he does not use any paint to create his vibrant compositions. Instead, he carefully assembles likenesses by utilizing the existing patterns and palettes of his materials. His works skillfully play with line, shape, and color, immortalizing his subjects with humor and flair.

CRASHED, CHOCKS AWAY

This archival pigment limited-edition print was created by Tim Walker and printed on Moab Slick Rock Metallic Pearl paper.

The powerful image depicts an airplane crashing into a room where two people remain working, undisturbed, as if unaware of the dramatic scene unfolding around them.

Tim Walker, born in England in 1970, developed his passion for photography while working in the Condé Nast library in London, where he spent a year studying the Cecil Beaton archive before attending college. After earning an HBC in Photography at Exeter College of Art and Design, Walker was awarded third prize as The Independent Young Photographer of the Year.

This print is displayed at the entrance of The Club Lounge.

LOOK OUT & FACING UP

These paired artworks were created by Noma Bar using screen printing on Somerset Satin paper with hand-applied 22-carat gold leaf.

London-based and born into a highly artistic family, Noma Bar graduated in 2000 from the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design with a B.DES in Graphic and Type Design. He describes his craft as "visual communication," blending the skills of artist, illustrator, and designer. With over 2,000 illustrations and 200 magazine covers published, Bar has also authored two highly acclaimed books, The Many Faces of Noma Bar and Negative Space, which have become essential resources in design school libraries and for tutors.

These two artworks can be admired at the far end of The Club Lounge, displayed above the banquette.

WHAT A STRANGE AND BEAUTIFUL THING LIFE TURNED OUT TO BE

Renowned for his distinctive style, which combines traditional painting techniques with a modern, often surreal perspective. His work explores life’s paradoxes, blending beauty with elements of disruption and unease. Baker frequently incorporates motifs of animals and human figures, and he is known for deliberately manipulating or damaging his pieces to challenge the sanctity of art.

Baker’s work has garnered significant international acclaim. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, he has exhibited globally, with solo shows in cities such as London, New York, and Los Angeles. His pieces are part of prestigious collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
